I’m S.O.B.A, a music producer, songwriter, and ghostwriter from Leeds, Yorkshire. My sound is a fusion of high-energy drum & bass and dubstep, layered with hints of metal/screamo and softer, melodic elements that bring a unique emotional edge.
At 28 years old, I’ve been producing music for the past three years, but only recently started releasing tracks after completely turning my life around. Music became my outlet, my therapy, and my way to channel everything I’ve been through.
I’ve battled addiction for much of my life, as many in the music industry have. But I’m now completely sober, free from all substances, and fully focused on building my career.
This journey has given me a powerful sense of purpose — to inspire others of all ages to see the brighter side of life and realize that life is so much more fun when you’re truly present.
My tracks are all created in my home studio, where I primarily work with a Maschine MK3 (the same as Fred Again..) and Logic Pro. I have an extensive portfolio of beats and lyrics, and I’m always looking for vocalists of all genres to collaborate with. If you vibe with my style, I’d love to hear from you.
I’ve also been experimenting with AI vocals, exploring new ways to push creative boundaries. Over the next year or two, my goal is to get my music into clubs and festivals and to keep growing my presence in the scene.
Ghostwriting – I write custom songs and lyrics for artists who want unique material to release under their own name.
Collabs – I’m actively seeking talented vocalists and musicians to feature on my tracks.
